Be Inspiration

Positive thinking is a powerful thing. Combining paint & hand embroidery the stitched painting, be inspiration...or not is 8 X 10 inches on wrapped canvas.

Sometimes Y

Going for bold bright colors, Sometimes Y is the newest painting in my typography series. It's 6 X 6 X 1 1/2 inches, in acrylic on canvas.

With inspiration from decaying signage and urban art, it's a painting that celebrates the beauty of aging and decay.

Painting Imperfect

New in the typography series, this painting, titled 246, is 6 X 8 inches in shades of grey with black and red. Like the other pieces in the series it celebrates age and wear with it's weathered appearance.
Painted in successive layers with a palette knife, the painting is in acrylic on wood. My typography series of paintings are also inspired by a graffiti vibe that sees beauty in decay.

Imperfect is beautiful!

Painting Numbers

Fragment 58, another painting in the typography series, features partial views of numbers. It is painted in acrylics on canvas board.

In reds, pinks and purples, it's a departure color wise from the other pieces in the series. It's also slightly larger at 6 X 8 inches.

Signage continues to be culturally important. This painting seeks to highlight the beautiful curves and lines found in ordinary numbers and letters.

Weathered Signs
