Folk Art Paintings: Cats, Birds and a Snow Leopard

Cats are the theme for three new miniature Folk Art paintings. First up is a turquoise striped cat having a visit with a flock of green birds. In Making New Friends, the birds are feeling quite comfortable around their new feline acquaintance.

Painted in a loose, informal, whimsical style, each painting is created in acrylic on heavy artist's paper. All 3 are Art Card or ACEO* sized.

In Tame Tiger, this Tabby Cat (or is he a tiger?) finds he might not be as fierce as he thinks. In fact, it's possible the bird on his head is quite a bit tougher.
An the final folk art painting of this set features a Snow Leopard with icy grey blue fur. She has a secret smile, hinting at something, I wonder what it is...

*ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) or ATC (Artist Trading Cards) are miniature works of art, 2.5 X 3.5 inches (6.4cm X 8.9cm), any subject matter, any medium, the only rule is size.
